The Jargon Detox, or how not to talk

Climate language often loses people. Terms like net zero, Paris-aligned, 1.5°C and nature-based solutions may be precise, but they mean little to most audiences.

In this interactive session, inspired by Just a Minute, participants must speak for 60 seconds without jargon. It’s all in good fun, but it makes a serious point: if people can’t understand us, how can we expect them to act?
